ALUMINIUM SULPHATE

Aluminium sulphate is the'classic' coagulant, delivered in solid (ALK- broken crystals) or liquid form (ALS).

All products comply with PN-EN 878 Polish Standard of November 1999.as iron-free grade, type 1.

Solid aluminium sulphate is available as:
- powder (granulation 0-0.8 mm or 0.9-4 mm)
- grit (granulation 4-16 mm)
- pieces (granulation 4-40 mm)

Product is supplied in 1000 kg big-bags, with any outlet, sleeve-shaped, 30 cm in diameter or in 25 kg polypropylene bags, on pallets of 40 bags (1 ton), wrapped in stretch film.

Product is usually applied dissolved, as a working solution of specific concentration.

Liquid aluminium sulphate (ALS) is transported in railway or truck cisterns, made of appropriate material or in DPPL containers. To be stored in plastic, acid-resistant steel or rubber-lined carbon steel vessels.

The aluminium sulphate is used as a coagulant for water and wastewater treatment, for production of paper and cardboard and other aluminium salts. Also used in construction sector.
