PAX is a non-organic coagulant based on Al3+ trivalent aluminium. PAX is an excellent precipitating and coagulating agent for water and wastewater and industrial waste treatment processes.

COAGULANTS PAX 16, 18:
Water solutions of polyaluminium chloride.

COAGULANTS PAX XL1, XL9, XL60, XL61, XL69:
Modified water solutions of polyaluminium chloride, containing among others Si, Na, Ca, Mg etc.
Colour: from transparent to light yellow.

COAGULANTS PAX 25:
Modified water solutions of polyaluminium iron chloride, containing among others Fe and SO4 ions. Colour: light brown.

SAFE TRANSPORT OF PRODUCT IN CLOSED CONTAINERS:
PAX can be transported in tightly closed containers to the dosing points in water and wastewater treatment plants.

DELIVERED AS:
PAX is delivered by cistern trucks - cistern trailers or delivery trucks adjusted for transport of PAX, from 1 to 16 m3. it is 1.5 to 25 tons respectively. Access roads and yards should be large enough for long vehicles. Cistern trucks must be certified for transport of hazardous materials class 8. item 5c, id no. 2581.

DOSING:
PAX can be metered as thinned or not thinned with water, using metering pumps resistant to chemicals. Valves and pipelines should be made of plastics: polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC or rubber coated steel.

STORAGE:
PAX must be stored in plastic (polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester laminates), rubber coated, ceramic or glass coated containers. NOTE: the containers should be flushed with water at least once a year.

HANDLING:
Use eye and skin protection while handling PAX in bulk.

SAFETY MEASURES:
PAX is lightly caustic. Avoid contact with skin. Wash skin with large amount of fresh water in case of contact. See product data sheet issued by KEMIPOL. Storage containers should be marked.

RANGE OF APPLICATIONS:
- Purification of drinking water according to PZH approval;
- Industrial water treatment;
- Coagulation and chemical precipitation of communal and industrial wastes;
- Production of paper and cardboard.

SPECIAL BENEFITS:
Using PAX in place of traditional non-organic coagulants has many considerable advantages: - smaller doses are required, - leads to rapid lint formation, - allows higher degree of water or sewage purity, - produces less sludge, - allows coagulation in an extended pH range, - allows easy and accurate dosing.

SERVICES:
- Expert consulting and assistance in application of our product,
- Technical and laboratory testing,
- Assistance in solving problems related to water and wastewater treatment,
- Provision of metering equipment for PAX,
- Transport of PAX to customer's premises.

TECHNICAL SERVICES
We continue to carry out research aimed at development and production of new coagulates and at minimising the content of contamination in the water and wastewater treatment processes. In order to test our coagulants or to improve treatment processes, we can deliver the equipment and ensure staff for laboratory, pilot or industrial-scale trails. We offer combination of expertise of KEMIRA, a worldwide concern, with the knowledge of Polish reality, based on implementation of coagulants in over 200 facilities nationwide.
